Chicane, a Sunny French Bistro on Broome Street

Here is a look around Chicane, a new bistro in the old L'Orange Bleue space from restaurateurs Jerome Solamito and Clovis Lambardan. The menu is inspired by Monaco and the French Riviera, with dishes like tuna tartare, risotto with escargot, whole wheat ravioli stuffed with kale, lamb shoulder with baby vegetables, and tuna a la plancha. Entrees are priced between $19 to $30. The chef, Andres Grundy, has worked in some very good restaurants over the years, including Daniel, Le Cirque, Raoul's, Clio in Chicago, and L'Arpege in Paris.
