Waxman to Open Restaurants in Toronto and Nashville

Barbuto's Jonathan Waxman has two new restaurants in the works, both outside of New York City. In Nashville, the chef and partners Ken Levitan and Howard Greenstone are opening Adele's by Jonathan Waxman in a space that formerly housed a parking garage. Eater National reports that this restaurant will have a wood-burning oven, an open kitchen, and a "seasonal menu of locally sourced ingredients." And in the King West neighborhood of Toronto, Waxman will open a 280-seat restaurant called Montecito. The chef is partnering with Ghotsbusters director Ivan Reitman and Innov8 Hospitality on that one. No details yet on what type of food will be served at the Toronto restaurant, but both new projects are slated to open this summer.
