While there were no "big ticket" items on the agenda at last night's Community Board 3 meeting, the board still managed to deny initial approval to several applicants. Three Points, Bikinis, Cochinita and Gaia Lounge where all denied, although it seems evident that the latter two will gain approval from the SLA directly, and Three Points ultimately withdrew its application. Bikinis faced the most opposition, with local residents coming out against it as the "scourge on the block."[Bowery Boogie]
