Saturday Specials: Mile End, Il Buco Alimentari & More

Noho/Bowery/Cooper Square Edition: Eater called around to five popular New York restaurants — some new, some old — to find out if there are any additions to the menu tonight. Here are the Saturday night specials:
Mile End Delicatessen: "Smoked and fried chicken with latkes, roasted apples, beet puree, and pickled horseradish sour cream; squash pierogies with charred radicchio, roasted sunchokes and rosemary brown butter; and hot dog poutine with saurkraut."
Il Buco Alimentari e Vineria: "Maine uni with roasted salsify, roasted garlic sheeps milk yogurt, local shaved root vegetables and a celery juice mist; lardo confited Peruvian purple potatoes with shaved bottarga and upland cress; and busiate with wilted arugula, Maine herring, parsley, and lemon meyer lemon peperoncino."

Five Points: "Pan roasted Normandy duck breast with fregola, sauteed spinach, kumquat, blood orange, and Fresno chili."
Saxon + Parole: "Dry-aged forty ounce ribeye for three, and black truffle burrata with black truffle carpaccio, and freshly shaved black truffle."
DBGB: "Duck liver mousse with Madagascar pepper and apple gelée and watercress; clam chowder with swordfish, whelk, bacon, and black pepper; and scallion madeleines and bone marrow with smoked beef heart, gooseberry, and black truffle jam."
