Dirck the Norseman, the long awaited restaurant and brew pub from Ed Raven and brewmaster Chris Prout, quietly opened for business over the weekend (and now includes a C in Dirck). The restaurant is serving its full menu from the get go, with options like chicken schnitzel, beef brisket, turkey confit, sausages, as well as a hearty dish dubbed the pig knuckle.
However, the homemade brews are still fermenting and are apparently not quite ready yet, so until then the bar is serving a variety of premium German beers in bottle and draft. The Dirck is now open for business every day at 5:00 p.m. If you happen to check it out, do let us know what you think.
