The Torrisi Team's world domination plan continues apace with the news that Mario Carbone, Rich Torrisi, and Jeff Zalaznick are planning a new location of their hit sandwich shop Parm on the Upper West Side. The Post reports that the new location of Parm will open at 235 Columbus Avenue, which is the space that formerly housed Lansky's Old World Deli. Construction on the Upper West Side location of Parm will take "at least six months."
The Torrisi Boys are also opening Parm locations in Williamsburg and Battery Park City, and they're working on new projects in the The Ludlow hotel and a space next to The High Line. When all of these places are open, Team Torrisi will have a nine-restaurant empire, and that's not counting the Parm stand in Yankee Stadium. That's an impressive number of restaurants for a group that formed just four years ago.
