Andrew Carmellini has been mulling over the concept for Bar Primi for a very long time. The chef/restaurateur actually filed a trademark application for the name back in 2007, years before he opened Locanda Verde. The AP reports that menu for the new restaurant in the old Peels space will include pastas, antipasti, and gelato. [AP]
