The original Brooklyn location of Junior's is currently being marketed to developers, but that doesn't mean that the borough is losing its cheesecake institution entirely. Alan Rosen, the third-generation owner of Junior's has decided (after many requests) to sell the place to a developer who would build condos on the spot but leave space for the restaurant on the ground floor.
While the space is on the market, Rosen is also on the hunt for a second Brooklyn location, which would serve as the Junior's outpost while construction is underway at the original. When the first reopens, the second will remain, and Brooklyn will just have two Junior's instead of one.
