WEST VILLAGE — On February 24 Otto is hosting a fundraiser for Babbo's beloved former pastry chef Gina DePalma, who is currently battling ovarian cancer. There will be a silent auction of cakes from some of the city's best pastry chefs, plus unlimited antipasti, pasta, pizza, beer and wine. VINEGAR HILL — On February 27, The Pines chef John Poiarkoff will serve a dinner at Hillside with his brother Mike Poiarkoff, who's just been made chef at Vinegar Hill House.
