Blue Ribbon Sushi has added its name to the all-star roster of restaurants opening outposts in Hudson Eats, the high-end food court in the works at Brookfield Place. Tribeca Citizen first floated the rumor last month that some member of the Bromberg Brothers empire would be joining the Brookfield Place dining options, and now the Commercial Observer confirms that it will be a branch of Blue Ribbon Sushi.
To fit the food court style of Hudson Eats, this Blue Ribbon Sushi will be a fast-casual version of the original Soho spot. It will have a sushi bar, but otherwise offer counter service plus take-out and delivery. As a refresher, the Brookfield Place lineup also includes Mighty Quinn's, Umami Burger, Num Pang, and Dos Toros among others at Hudson Eats, plus a full-service outpost of Parm and four other yet-unnamed restaurants, and a massive French market modeled after Eataly. The whole thing is slated to open by spring.
