Luke's Lobster Is Indeed Opening a Park Slope Outpost

Luke's UES, Krieger

Rapidly expanding seafood roll chain Luke's Lobster is opening a Park Slope outpost come spring. Owners Luke Holden and Ben Conniff have been on the hunt for a space since September, and have now signed the lease at 237 Fifth Avenue. The new space, which is currently behind a lot of plywood, has room for a backyard, and will serve the same simple menu of shrimp, crab, and Maine lobster rolls.

Besides one other Brooklyn location at Brooklyn Bridge Park, Luke's has five Manhattan outposts, a food truck, and several restaurants in D.C. and Philadelphia. Update: Ben Conniff sends along word that this new outpost will be the first to have beer on tap. There will be events and parties like a grilled lobster tail night in the backyard, and the restaurant will serve as a pickup location for the Village Fishmonger, a sustainable seafood CSA.
