Mu Ramen Does Everyone a Favor and Starts Taking Day-Of Reservations

New, 1 comment

A chance at ramen without a two hour wait.

Robert Sietsema

Robert Sietsema was a pretty big fan of Mu Ramen when he stopped by for an early visit. His only major complaint? The wait. The newly opened ramen-ya in Long Island City is drawing several hour waits, and even the crappy weather isn't keeping people away. So, Mu Ramen's husband and wife duo Joshua and Heidy Smooker are doing ramen devotees of NYC a solid: They are now offering reservations (albeit very limited ones).

Here are the rules:

1. Same day reservations, only

2. Max party size is four people (no exceptions)

3. Phone lines open at 3 p.m. (It's 917-868-8903, by the way).

4. Seating starts at 5:30 p.m.

So ready your cell phones. This is, after all, ideal ramen weather.
