John McDonald's Sessanta Ristorante Is Coming in February; Bacchanal Launches Brunch

SOHO — John McDonald's project in the Sixty SoHo hotel will take over the old Kittichai space March. The restaurant, named Sessanta Ristorante, will offer coastal Italian fare. No word yet on whether that pretty pond will remain in place. [NYT]

NOLITA — Bacchanal's launching brunch with weekend. The menu offers an everything bagel eclair with smoked salmon and dill cream cheese, steak tartare with egg yolk jam, and a slightly more traditional whole grain waffle and Bacchanal omelette with Brussels sprouts, potato, onion, ham, and Manchego.
