Pacifico's Is Hosting a Nigerian Feast for One Night; Russ & Daughters' Documentary Airs Tonight

Plus, The Pines holds a very meaty dinner and ChikaLicious's Dessert Club gets into the holiday spirit.

CROWN HEIGHTS — Nigerian-born chef Tunde Wey, who has been cooking his way around the United States, is popping up at Pacifico's Fine Foods for dinner on December 17. The menu includes jollof rice, a bean dish with coconut pudding, goat peppers soup, a warm tapioca salad, and several other dishes. Tickets are available for $65. [VV]

GOWANUS — The Pines is hosting its fourth Meet the Producers event this Sunday evening with Happy Valley Meat Company. Chef John Poiarkoff is preparing a meal of hay-smoked beef sirloin tartare, cumin-spiced lamb shoulder, a 120-day-aged rib eye with kimchi, sunchokes, and mushrooms, and a couple of other courses.
