August, the perennially popular date spot that lived on Bleecker Street for a decade, has reopened on 791 Lexington Avenue, reports Flo Fab. The restaurant was forced out of its original home when the landlord jacked up the rent 200%, but found the new location on Lex back in September, and has been back up and running in its new home for the past week. August is currently open for dinner, with lunch and brunch service coming in the next few weeks. Chef and partner Josh Eden is serving a similar menu as to the one downtown but "adapted to the new neighborhood" a representative tells Eater.

In other uptown news, Eli Zabar has renovated Taste, the restaurant in Eli's Manhattan market on Third Avenue. It will soon open as Eli's Table, with a new chef and a new menu of dishes like porchetta sliders and a ribeye for two.
