Park Slope: The giant two-year-old Die Koelner Bierhalle has been seized, reports Here's Park Slope. The bar was open as recently as last weekend, but the telltale neon orange seizure sign is up and the restaurant reportedly owes $23,000 in taxes and other fees. Those looking for a beer hall vibe can head down to neighborhood newcomer Threes Brewing.
East Village: The outlet of Spice restaurant at 4th Avenue and 10th Street has shuttered, shares a tipster. A sign on the door says the owners are consolidating their restaurants.
Park Slope: After a forced temporary shutter, courtesy of the DOH, ‘sNice seems to have packed it in. The space is mostly empty and neighbors tell Park Slope Stoop they don't think anyone's coming back. The shop's Manhattan location shuttered this summer, so 'sNice is officially off the grid.
Tribeca: French cafe Josephine shuttered recently. Management posted a sign saying that the restaurant was closed (presumably temporarily) because of technical issues, but the Tribeca Citizen confirms that it's officially dunzo.
