LOWER EAST SIDE — Get acquainted with the the cutest barista lineup in town, the kitties at Meow Parlour. Unless you already snagged a reservation, you'll probably have to wait until at least mid-February to get in on the cat cafe action, so in the meantime these photos and bios tide you over. EAST VILLAGE — Nashville's Rolf and Daughters is popping up at Momofuku Ssam Bar for a late-night dinner on January 20. Tickets and more details will drop January 6, over on Momo's Tumblr. [Twitter]

MIDTOWN EAST — Spa Castle Premier, the upscale Manhattan version of the sprawling Queens multistory spa-porium, opened yesterday. While the Queens location has both a food court and full blown Korean restaurant set atop the spa, the Manhattan version has more limited options. There are healthy acai bowls, bento boxes, and chopped salads. For those who want to indulge, there's mochi ice cream and a wine bar.

AROUND TOWN — Sticky's Finger Joint is serving The Latke Finger, a Hanukkah inspired chicken finger (fried in a potato and onion crust) through December 25. Ten percent of the proceeds will go to Mazon, a national non-profit that fights hunger. [EaterWire]
