It looks like things are moving ahead swiftly with the new Dimes Superette at 49 Canal Street. Adam Frank of Cochinita Dos, the offshoot of Clinton Hill taqueria Cochinita, sends word to The Lo Down that the restaurant will shutter this Friday. The taco spot had a short run in the space, opening only this past May. The Dimes team is still staying pretty quiet about the whole expansion, but the new space was pitched to the SLA as a sort of grab-and-go spot with seating for 40.
