After seven years of offering sustenance to drunk hipsters on Bedford Avenue, the Endless Summer Taco Truck has finally gone brick and mortar. Endless Summer Sandwich opened right before Thanksgiving in Bed-Stuy, though owner Teddy Roland has been tossing around the idea for years. Roland tells DNAinfo: "We always wanted to get a brick and mortar, this is what we dreamed of — a place where we can play and mess around with our own ideas."
Those ideas include house-made sauces, which are being slathered on seasonal sandwiches stuffed with fried chicken, country pate, and some vegetarian options. Sadly, there are no tacos here. Those are reserved for the 'burg.
