Bowery Meat Company, John McDonald, Josh Capon, and Peter Kane's newest meat palace, is opening tonight on Extra Place, just down the way from where Momofuku Ko is settling in. The concept is a 21st century steakhouse with a sort of 1960's throwback design vibe. The team, which also counts Lure Fish Bar, B&B, and El Toro Blanco among its restaurants, has paid special attention to beef sourcing. There's a slight Italian bent to chef Paul DiBari's menu, which features a duck lasagna for two and crispy polenta among its options, but there's also a cote du boeuf for two and a burger for the traditionalists out there. Check back soon for photos of the space.
