Andrew Carmellini and team have been tight lipped about its newest project, Little Park, but the stylish hotel restaurant finally opens tonight. A first look at the menu shows exactly what Carms promised, a seasonal menu in all of its farm to table glory. There's an entire section dedicated to "Autumn Vegetables," but definitely no kale salad. The menu has a slight Italian bent, with dishes like beetroot risotto, black kale ravioli, and burrata, but other parts borrow from neighboring countries. None of the dishes top $25, making the menu one of the more reasonably priced options in the neighborhood. The restaurant is currently only serving dinner but will add breakfast and lunch in the coming weeks.

The team is also opening Evening Bar behind the fireplace in the lobby of boutique Thompson hotel, the Smyth Hotel. The menu from Anne Robinson (a vet of PDT and Booker and Dax) sports a handful of house cocktails including the insane-sounding porcini nog, which is scotch with porcini vinegar, egg, dried porcini and chocolate shavings. Check back soon for a full tour of the spaces.
