Michael White Opens Campagna, His Restaurant at Richard Gere's Upstate Bed & Breakfast

Today, almost two months after opening the first of his two restaurants at Richard Gere's upstate bed and breakfast, Michael White opens Campagna at the Bedford Post Inn in Westchester County. Compared to the already-open Barn, this is the upscale main event. The menu is, as one would expect, mostly Italian, but there are some new American leanings here and there, to fit into the 19th century farmhouse look of the place.

PJ Calapa, the chef of Ai Fiori and Costata is overseeing things, and Devin Bozkaya, a vet of Virginia's acclaimed Inn at Little Washington, is on as chef de cuisine, running the day to day cooking.
