Next month's Community Board 2 meeting is shaping up to be a juicy one. One Ann Redding is applying for a liquor license at 8 Spring Street. Eater hasn't gotten confirmation yet, but it seems a likely possibility that it's the same Ann Redding behind nearby Thai hot spot Uncle Boons. Here's hoping.
Also on the docket is Genuine Roadside, the Americana-themed restaurant that design/restaurant firm AvroKO currently operates in Gotham West Market. Eater recently got wind of a possible Nolita project from Ken Priest, the general manager of the original location, so this would seem to confirm that expansion plan. Still, there's no word yet on whether the restaurant will be the same or slightly different, but Eater has reached out to both restaurants for comment. Stay tuned for more details.
