Momofuku's Doing Takeout for Thanksgiving; Vic's Adds Lunch and Brunch Services

Kitano offers a traditional Japanese tea service; Franny's hosts a Tuscan bean Feast.

THANKSGIVING WIRE — Momofuku is offering two Thanksgiving takeout options. From Ssam Bar there's a whole roasted pork shoulder, confit turkey legs served in Chinese buns with smoked mayo, and several other courses. Over at Ma Peche, there's a choice of smoked lamb shoulder or deep fried chicken, both with curried rice, and a number of sides. Packages range in size and price. Check out all of the details here. NOHO — Vic's the remake of legendary brunch spot Five Points is adding brunch back to its options this weekend, and lunch started today. For brunch there is a breakfast rapido, a quick cornetti, cappuccino and juice, as well as baked eggs with lamb shoulder, harissa and ricotta salata, and a frittata with broccoli rabe, olives, and parm. Lunch offers a vegetable focused plate, along with roasted chicken, and a burrata sandwich. [EaterWire]

MIDTOWN EAST — Hotel Kitano will host a formal Japanese tea ceremony this coming Sunday focused on "Tea for Thanksgiving." Tea master Fujuko Saskai will lead one hour sessions from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and each session will offer a thick tea and a thin tea.
