Food Network star, Alton Brown, who has been traveling the Edible Inevitable Tour was in New York for a show yesterday at The Beacon with Do or Dine's Justin Warner. He managed to make an impressive number of stops during his short time in the city and kept track of them through his Instagram and Twitter feeds. Here is a rundown of what he ate:
The day started with coffee at 9th Street Espresso.
In my opinion, this is the best coffee in New York City @9thStEspresso #ABRoadEatsNYC #AltonBrownLive pic.twitter.com/tSaAQM2xJJ

Then, an obligatory bagel. Brown likes his with whitefish and tomato.
There's nothing like a bagel from NYC. My usual from @ZuckersBagels (whitefish and tomato). #ABRoadEatsNYC pic.twitter.com/3gwuSpTcBB

Next up, a stop at Donut Pub.
There are a lot of good doughnuts in NYC, but this might be my favorite @DonutPub. #ABRoadEatsNYC #AltonBrownLive pic.twitter.com/K1QMnYD5c9

Lunch time had Brown first attempting to hit up Levain Bakery, but the line was too long so he opted instead for a recession special from Gray's Papaya.

Post show munchies lead Brown to visit Shake Shack.
