After a three year wait, Harry and Peter Poulakakos have finally opened their restaurant complex in Pier A. The restaurateurs who have a stake in almost every restaurant in the FiDi and Battery Park City took control of this run-down landmark back in 2011 with plans to open a multi-level behemoth of a restaurant, replete with private dining rooms, picnic tables, and everything in between. Tribeca Citizen reports that the casual first floor of restaurant, which soft opened yesterday, will continue to open daily from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. The menu includes the usual pub fare suspects with an emphasis on seafood. The second floor of the restaurant will be used as a fine dining space which is expected to open some time in 2015.
