But the NYPD doesn't really care how famous you are for making over-the-top cakes.

Yesterday "Cake Boss" Buddy Valastro, reality star and owner of Carlo's Bakery in Hoboken, was arrested in the wee hours of morning for driving his yellow Corvette through the streets of Manhattan while intoxicated. He was arraigned yesterday evening, and with that the full details of his arrest came out.

First and foremost, it seems he tried to pull the "I'm famous for making extravagant cakes on TV card," allegedly telling cops, "You can't arrest me, I'm the Cake Boss!" When that didn't work, he also tried to downplay the number of drinks he had, but then blew a .108 on a breathalyzer test (the legal limit is .08). But in the end, he was released without bail.
