Daniel Patterson of Coi in San Francisco just had to dine at the restaurant one last time.

WD~50 devotees from near and not so near are flocking to the restaurant for a final meal. Chef Daniel Patterson, of the Michelin-starred Coi, flew in all the way from San Francisco, noting on Instagram: "Yes I flew to NYC for 12 hours to eat at WD one last time. Thanks @wyliedufresne for so many great meals, inspiration and friendship. Here's to many more! Somewhere soon...."

David Chang showed his love:

Meanwhile, wd~50's most frequent guest, Stewart Waltzer is getting in a few final meals, because apparently, 300 meals at wd~50 is simply not enough. As for the rest of you, don't get those hopes up. From next week until the restaurant closes on November 30, the restaurant starts serving ticketed meals only, and those tickets are sold out. Reservations are also fully booked this week, and a receptionist at the restaurant says it's no longer taking walk ins.
