Today, at 11 a.m. sharp, another neighborhood gets it very own Shake Shack. Danny Meyer and team are opening the seventh Manhattan outpost of the ever-popular burger chain in Midtown East, on the corner of 40th Street and 3rd Avenue, after a little under a year in the works. Not much new to see here. As always, it's the same menu of Shack burgers and hot dogs, plus a few location-specific concretes added to the custard menu — here those include one with strawberry, banana, and cheesecake blondies, and another with peanut butter sauce and chocolate chip cookies. And of course, there are crinkle cut fries.
Next up, Herald Square.
