The recently vacated Brooklyn Fish Camp will soon be home to a "modern Vietnamese gastropub." Lien and Edward Lin, two longtime vets of San Francisco's acclaimed Slanted Door are coming east to open the restaurant, reports The Daily Meal. Lien worked her way up from line cook to executive sous chef during her 10 year tenure, while Edward ran the restaurant's outpost Out the Door and has also put in some time with Laurent Gras, Daniel Humm, and Chris Kostow. No word yet on whether the pair will bring any of the Slanted Door's signature dishes like shaking beef or the complimentary cotton candy, but stay tuned.
