Legendary drag club Lucky Cheng's has found a new home — if the team can score a liquor license. They will have to argue their case before the community board on November 18, but they are hoping to re-open in the old Living Room space. Lucky Cheng's lost its second home, in Times Square in late June, when rents skyrocketed to a reported $55,000 a month. The business suffered a major blow around the same time when founder Hanye Suthon passed away from breast cancer. Robert Jason and Josephine, her ex and daughter, have kept the show going as a regular pop-up at the DL on the Lower East Side in the meantime, but this is their first move towards settling down in a new permanent home. 154 Ludlow Street, Lower East Side
