Scenes from The Relaunch Party at Cosme

On Tuesday night, friends of Eater gathered at Cosme, Enrique Olvera's soon-to-be-open Flatiron restaurant, to celebrate the relaunch of

Eater Founder and Editorial Director Lockhart Steele and Amanda Kludt kicked off the evening with a discussion about the process of relaunching Eater, their favorite fall dishes and the best current cities to chow down in.

Chef Enrique Olvera served up bite-sized portions of sepia a la Mexicana, alongside Missy Robbins and AJ Schaller of Corkbuzz who prepared spicy burrata sandwiches and pork belly with grapefruit glaze. Nick Anderer was also on site with the Marta team, serving up rabbit meatballs with black olives.

Absolut and Negra Modelo kept the drinks flowing all night. Many thanks to our friends at Lafayette who created custom macarons featuring the refreshed signature Eater "E and the team at Phaidon publishing for a special preview of of their newest cookbook "Mexico: The Cookbook" available to the public on October 27th.
