ACROSS THE CITY — Many restaurants around the city, including All'Onda, Le Bernardin, Batard, and numerous others will donate a part of every bill on November 5 to Dine Out for Heroes, which helps support returning veterans and their families. WEST VILLAGE — Floating bar Grand Banks is getting ready to sail up the Hudson for the winter months, but before that, the team will offload its stock with $5 drinks and $20 bottles of wine this Friday. Bring a coat. [EaterWire]

GREENPOINT — Popular newcomer Le Fond will start brunch this Saturday. The menu includes scrambled eggs with creamed broccoli, Nutella bread pudding with vanilla yogurt and granola, fried chicken with cheddar grits, and a sweet take on the restaurant's happy hour beignets.
