A Tour Through Gansevoort Market, a Maze of Sushi, Tapas, Tacos, and More in MePa

A thorough look around the city's latest food hall, past towers of pastries, a Greek yogurt bar, a taco bus, and an outpost of Sushi Dojo.

Here's a thorough tour of Gansevoort Market, the Meatpacking District's sprawling new food hall, which has been slowly coming to life these past couple of weeks. There are some major players among the maze of counters: sushi rockstar David Bouhadana has Dojo Express, an offshoot of his hit Sushi Dojo, the excellent Donostia has a tapas counter, and FeelFood is serving its healthy Latin lunch food. Ed's Lobster Bar also has an outpost, Tacombi is serving tacos from a VW bus, and Luzzo's will soon be serving pizza (for now it's giving away slices from its pizza cart outside). Plus coffee, crepes, pastries, groceries, a Greek yogurt bar, and a counter devoted to pork. And at the back, an open, skylit space to sit and eat, strung with enough vines and woven branches to look like a greenhouse. 52 Gansevoort Street, Meatpacking District
