Sunday Gravy Dinner at Hearth
When: Tomorrow Night
Where: Hearth
What: Hearth is starting up a Sunday Gravy dinner series this weekend. The menu, which will be served through the end of the year, is a four course, family style feast replete with Italian-American comfort food like eggplant parm, tiramisu, and the namesake gravy. Dinner costs $55 a head. $20 more will get you a beverage pairing.


Dim Sum Brunch
When: Today and Tomorrow,  9 am and 4 pm
Where: Joseph Leonard
What: Head to Joseph Leonard for the restaurant's fourth annual dim sum brunch.  The entire menu will consist of Chinese inspired dishes like short rib dumplings, fried chicken bao, broccoli beef, and sesame noodles  as well as themed cocktails like a kimchee bloody mary. This brunch is walk in only.


International Chefs Congress
When: Tomorrow (through Tuesday)
Where: Brooklyn Expo Center
What: This culinary symposium teams up chefs, pastry chefs, mixologists, and sommeliers to present their latest techniques and ideas through a series of seminars and demos. The all star chef line up includes Grant Achatz, Dan Barber, Enrique Olvera, and Joan Roca, among many others. Tickets range from $300 to $1500.


Nordic Tasting Menu
When: Tonight
Where: Cull & Pistol
What: Tonight is your last chance to get a taste of the Nordic-inspired four-course tasting menu at Cull & Pistol. Expect dishes like Aquavit-cured salmon with beet chutney, and steamed halibut with squash puree and hen of the woods mushrooms. The meal costs $59, with an additional $30 for beverage pairings. No reservations are required.


Ciderfeast
When: Today, from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 or 3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Where: Fulton at Front Street
What: This kickoff event to cider week features more than 30 ciders sourced from top quality European producers as well as local favorites like Farnum Hill and Aaron Burr. There will also be snacks courtesy of Cabbot Cheese, McClures Pickles, Martin's Pretzels and Asturias for Foodies. Tickets cost $45 for this all you can drink event.
