CITY-WIDE — Dirt Candy, Hearth, and the Redhead are launching NYC Restaurant Amnesty Week 2014, October 5-11. Hearth was recently struck by the theft of its bench, and it seems that things are often going missing around town. Restaurants that want to join the campaign can post this image on social media. APPS — Resy's adding brunch reservations to its buffet of options. To start things off this Saturday, there will be tables for purchase at Charlie Bird, El Toro Blanco, Rosemary's, and several others. [Forbes]

PARK SLOPE — Franny's is hosting two cellar series events next week. On Tuesday there are oysters and cocktails with Peter Thomas Fornatale and Chris Wertz, authors of Brooklyn Spirits: Craft Cocktails and Stories from the World's Hippest Borough. On Wednesday there's a Scarpa wine dinner. The evenings cost $100 and $165 respectively. [EaterWire]

MIDTOWN WEST — Ardesia is celebrating its fifth anniversary on October 13. During the evening, the wine bar will serve select items from the opening menu, including a pastrami sandwich made with braised apple-potato sauerkraut for $5. [EaterWire]
