Lower East Side: Construction is finally underway at the Clinton Street Baking Company annex. As mentioned before, the original space will focus on coffee and takeout, while the new space next door will hopefully provide some relieve to those waiting in line for pancakes. [BB]
Tribeca: Grazin', a farm to table restaurant based in Hudson, New York, is planning to open a second location at 56 Reade Street, which formerly housed Park Lane Deli. The restaurant is the "the first Animal Welfare Approved" restaurant in the U.S., so expect lots of grass-fed burger options sometime early next year. [Tribeca Citizen]
Brooklyn Heights: Smorgasburg vendor Vendome Macaron has signed a lease for a space at One Brooklyn Bridge, right near the Ample Hills outlet in Brooklyn Bridge Park. [PLYWOOD]
Inwood: Beans and Vines, a cafe and wine shop, is moving across the street to triple its size, expanding its seating from 16 to 50. More food options will be available including some Dominican dishes, and the owner plans to add breakfast during the week. The old space will be converted into a takeout counter and a prep-kitchen for catering down the line. [DNAinfo]
Soho: A juice shop is moving in on the corner of Lafayette and Grand Streets. All the sign says is "Juice Is Coming." [PLYWOOD]
Lower East Side: A 99 cent slice joint is moving in at 105 Stanton Street. [Bowery Boogie]
