It appears that Chicane, the French Riviera-styled bistro that was open for a short while on Broome Street, won't be reopening after all. As some may recall, it closed back in June for renovations after just five months in business. At the time, a representative promised that the restaurant would reopen by the end of August, but now September has come and gone, and Grub Street editor Hugh Merwin notes that the space is "being cleared out today."
