The wait times at the pizzeria of the moment Marta are epic and it appears that no one, not even restaurant grand dame Gael Greene, is immune.
Waited forever 4table lasngt @Marta.Chef shaved white truffes on pizza to say "sorry."Loved crisp thin pies, especially white potato.

Still, the average Joe shouldn't count on getting the same truffle apology. A better strategy: go for weekend brunch. An Eater visit on a recent Sunday at peak brunch time yielded no wait and even revealed a few open seats. According to chef Nick Anderer, weekend brunches have been nice and mellow. And for those wondering, yes, pizza is a completely acceptable brunch food, especially when it's topped with potatoes, eggs, and bacon.
