EAST VILLAGE and SOHO — Continuing this season of openings, Alex Stupak's casual taqueria Empellon al Pastor will open on Monday, while permanent pop-up space Chef's Club will open on November 1. [NYT]

EAST VILLAGE  — And speaking of Alex Stupak, Empellon Cocina will host its fifth Push Project dinner, where Stupak collaborates with a famous chef.
