Stylish speakeasy Raines Law Room opened its second location yesterday above The Shakespeare Pub in The William Hotel. Master bar mistress Meaghan Dorman is in charge of the menu here as well and has put together a lengthy list of drinks including a build your own Old Fashioned allowing guests to select their bitters, booze, and sweeteners. Jason Hicks, who heads the kitchen at The Peacock, will serve small plates of British inflected fare like cider pickled pears with Northamptonshire Stilton; Scotch eggs, and a grilled cheese ‘teawich,' with cheddar, stilton, and jalapeno.

Expect the same opulence and design style as the Chelsea original, including curtained off booths, and service bells for waiters. Reservations are available on Mondays and Tuesdays only. 24 East 39th Street.
