WEST VILLAGE — More grilled cheese sandwiches will be dropping from the sky this weekend, courtesy of Aussie team Jafflechutes (Jaffles are what they call grilled cheese down under). The sandwiches are expected to drop at 1 p.m. on Sunday. Exact details are available to those who sign up on the group's website. [GS]

BROOKLYN — Blue Marble is hosting its second Marble to Marble race to raise money for its non-profit arm, Blue Marble Dreams, which helps women in developing countries open ice cream shops. It costs $10 to participate in the race and the winner gets free ice cream. [EaterWire]
