UNION SQUARE — Casa Mono turns ten this month, and it's celebrating with a ten-course tasting menu of the restaurant's "greatest hits" on January 24 and 25. There will be dishes like pork belly with sea urchin, foie gras, and rib eye with bone marrow, each with a wine pairing. The meal is $250 per person, all inclusive, and reservations can be made by calling 212-253-2773. Check out the full menu, below. [EaterWire]

RED HOOK — Starting this weekend, Grindhaus will be open from 1 to 6 p.m. on Sunday to offer Sunday pho. On that day only chefs Aaron Taber and Leon Douglas will cook their West coast-style pho, made with beef broth and sliced eye round. [EaterWire]

GREENPOINT — Tørst has started doing a pig roast on Sundays. From 1 to 6 p.m. get a serving of roasted pork shoulder, pickled red cabbage, and cranberry beans with rapini for $15. Another $5 will get you a beer to go with it. [EaterWire]

LOS ANGELES — Take a look around LA Chapter, the restaurant in the new LA outpost of the Ace Hotel. It's the work of restaurateur Jud Mongell and chef Ken Addington, the team behind Greenpoint's Five Leaves. The hotel also has a coffee bar from Stumptown and a bar/lounge called The Segovia, and an overall stunning interior. [~ELA~]
