David Burke Townhouse Closes Today for an Update

The current dining room by Daniel Krieger

On the eve of its tenth anniversary, David Burke Townhouse has closed down for a month to do some renovations. Besides the addition of carving stations in the dining room, there aren't many details yet on what exactly the revamp will entail. David Burke says he wants to "modernize" the restaurant's interior, and plans to update the menu with a mix of new dishes and old classics. It may be worth noting that Townhouse has already done one such revamp back around the time of its fifth anniversary, and that one involved a set of blown glass balloons.

Until David Burke Townhouse reopens, sometime around Valentine's Day, David Burke Fishtail will be accommodating some of the overflow, and will serve a few "Townhouse-inspired" dishes on both its lunch and dinner menus.
