Williamsburg Gem Dumont Closes for Winter Renovations

New, 3 comments

Earlier today, Eater sources whispered that Williamsburg pioneer Dumont had closed after service on Sunday, possibly for good. Eater reached out to Dumont HQ. Here's the official word: "Due to certain unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, Dumont is currently closed for renovations in both the kitchen and the garden, we expect to reopen in a short period of time." The restaurant launched breakfast last month, and it hosted a big New Year's Eve party last week.

Following the tragic death of Dumont's owner and founder Colin Devlin last summer, the team announced that they had no plans to shutter DuMont or its sister establishment DuMont Burger. Stay tuned for news on the reopening as it becomes available.
