Lil' Charlie's Says Goodbye to Ken & Cook in Nolita

Nolita party spot Lil' Charlie's can no longer be found operating in the basement of Ken & Cook. The subterranean party spot held its last shindig on New Year's Eve, and a rep for the club says they are now looking for a new home somewhere in the neighborhood. Ken & Cook will apparently be expanding into the basement area and will soon be able to host large group dinners and private events.

The basement was never actually licensed for a separate club/lounge operation, which led to an SLA crackdown on both the club and restaurant. It looks like they shut down before the SLA pursued the complaint any further. Lil' Charlie's promises news on their new location in the next few weeks.
