1) 10th Anniversary at Casa Mono
When: Tonight
Where: Casa Mono
What: Celebrate Casa Mono's tenth birthday with a with a ten-course tasting menu. The offerings will feature favorite dishes from the restaurant like pork belly with sea urchin, rib eye and foie gras. The meal will set you back $250 per person, but that includes everything, even the wine pairing. Reservations can be made by calling 212-253-2773. 
2) Bronx Brewery Beer Tasting
When: Today, 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Where: Nolita Mart
What: Stop by gourmet market Nolita Mart for samples of Bronx Brewery's pale ales alongside some snacks from Artisanal Premium Cheese and Rick's Picks Pickles. There's some more info on the Bronx Brewery and the tasting over on Nolita Mart's website.
3) NYChiliFest 2014
When: Sunday, January 26th, 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Where: Chelsea Market
What: Warm up with some chili at NYChiliFest 2014. You will be able to sample at least two dozen chili variations prepared by New York City chefs. There will be beer too (Sam Adams). What else do you need on a winter night? This deal runs $50 for unlimited chili and $55 for unlimited chili and beer. You can get tickets here.
4) Meat Week Kickoff
When: Sunday, 3 p.m.
Where: Dinosaur Bar-B-Que
What: Meat Week NYC is starting its week-long tour of barbecue hotspots in the city. They've decided on Dinosaur Bar-B-Que's new Gowanus location for their stop. Check out their website for a list of all the participating restaurants. 
5) BYO Potluck
When: Sunday Night
Where: L'Apicio
What: This Sunday is the kickoff for L'Apicio's BYO weekend potlucks. You bring your own wine and beer, but the restaurant cooks the food and serves it to you in their private dining room. Tickets are $40 per person.
