Another reader writes in with a report from Emmett's, the new Chicago-style pizzeria in Soho: "The pizza was brought to the table uncut, but sliced there. They might want to slice it in the kitchen since the stiff crust makes the operation a bit difficult at the table. Overall, the pizza was very tasty — but about 7/10th a Lou Malnati's pie (which I hold to be the best example of deep dish)." [EaterWire][Photo]
