For years, fans of deep-dish pizza were forced to go to Uno Chicago Grill when they craved piping hot tomato casseroles. But now, the game has changed with the opening of Emmett's, a new Soho pizzeria specializing in pies that are five inches thick, but dense like dying stars. The owner is actually from Chicago, and the pizzas actually look like curling stones. So far the Yelpers are digging the pizzas, and The Daddy says that the team plans to eventually offer thin crust pies and hot Italian beef. If you sample one of these edible punch bowls full of cheese and tomato stew, please let us know your thoughts.
