The Los Angeles outpost of the iconic Rao's opened in September, and now the Times has a look at how that branch is holding up to the reputation of the notoriously exclusive original. The food is the same and the place is "bustling," but Adam Nagourney notes that Los Angeles diners "are much less likely to be impressed by anything that hints of white-tablecloth formal," or by celebrity sightings.
